Wow people have been talking about it so we tried on a Friday night. The service was good the food was fresh and hot when we got it, however you get 2 pieces of fish and they are very large. If you aren't a hearty eater split one plate and order a couple extra vegetables... The food was delicious.

This little restaurant is SO GOOD! definitely worth a try if you love fish! The white fish is my fave since its really light and flaky! Its right around the corner from our house so its an easy go-to if we are in the mood for some good old southern style food!

I had the Cajun catfish with slaw and fried okra. It was all so delicious, the Cajun spice is just right. Not too spice but the perfect amount. Also the slaw is different than most as it contains pickles, but I definitely recommend it as it has such a flavorful taste. The service was quick and great as well.

I tried to call in my order so I didn't have to wait when I arrived to pick up the order. No one answered the phone after i tried three times to call so I drove up there to place my order in person. I was told it would take 30 minutes to make so I waited in the parking lot with my dog in the car for 25 minutes and then went in to see if it was ready. After standing there by the register for another 20 minutes I was asked what my name was to see if my order was ready. I was then told that there was no order for me back there and that it must have been lost and I was asked if I wanted to wait longer while they made it finally. I said I would just take the refund so the cashier was told to give me a refund. I then continued to wait another 6 to 8 minutes while the cashier checked out 3 more guests who had already eaten before giving me my refund. I'm sure the food is great there and I was looking forward to trying it but I will not be going back to find out.

Absolutely fantastic fish! Can't say enough about how good the food is. Even better is the service. They were so welcoming and helpful. Made us feel like we were at a friend's home. Such sweet people. If you don't try this place you are missing out. I thought we had good catfish in Texas, but Uncle Larry's was the best we have ever had. We will definitely be regulars.
